 Professional Journey

  • I joined Kizen AI just before the planned launch of their new Gen AI custom CRM builder. My objective was to design and execute the go-to-market strategy from the ground up and generate our initial pipeline of high-intent leads, all within one quarter.

Building the Strategy from Market Insights

I started with a deep dive into the competitive landscape. My analysis showed that most competitors were using generic messaging and overlooking specific, long-tail keywords. This presented a clear opportunity to enter the market with a more focused approach. I built our GTM strategy around these gaps, centering our efforts on a technical audience of CTOs and VPs of Engineering who were being ignored by the broader market.

    A Hands-On Approach to Execution

Putting this strategy into action required a hands-on approach, as we were building the marketing function from scratch.

    • I personally launched and managed a multichannel campaign, including targeted emails to our defined technical audience and a Google Ads program built on our keyword insights.

    • To support this, I created much of the initial content myself—from the technical sales decks and landing pages to ad copy and Loom explainer videos. The goal was to ensure our complex AI product was translated into clear business outcomes.

    • My role extended to directly supporting the sales cycle, where I personally delivered product demos to CTOs at interested startups and enterprise companies.

    Results and Impact

This focused strategy proved effective and allowed us to make a direct business impact in a short amount of time.

    • In the first quarter, the campaign generated 150 qualified leads, exceeding our initial goal by 30%.

    • The data and insights from this initial launch provided a clear, data-driven foundation for the company's content and social media strategy for the following quarter.

    • In parallel with the GTM efforts, I also developed a set of video guides and a searchable knowledge base to help the company scale, which successfully reduced new customer and employee onboarding time.

  • At Elloe AI, we faced a common challenge: our fitness app was competing in a crowded market. My primary goal was to find a clear path for differentiation. After conducting market and user research, I proposed a fundamental shift in our strategy: to pivot from a simple fitness tracker to a comprehensive wellness platform that combined our AI with support from certified therapists and dietitians.

My role was to lead the product marketing and strategy for this new direction, turning the vision into a tangible product and go-to-market plan.

    Go-to-Market Strategy & Launch

A new product category required building a new go-to-market plan from scratch.

    • To support our new value proposition, I designed and rolled out a new pricing policy aimed at improving our conversion rate from free to paid users.

    • To build awareness, I initiated outreach programs, including podcasts and webinars with university partners, to connect with early adopters.

    • This new strategy led to significant early traction, resulting in 5,000+ active users and a 20% conversion rate to our paid subscriptions within the first six months.

    Product Strategy & User Experience

I worked closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure the user experience was intuitive and delivered on our promise.

    • Through a series of Voice of Customer (VoC) interviews, I identified that the initial product setup was a major point of friction for new users.

    • Based on that feedback, I guided the redesign of our onboarding flow, simplifying the process from 12 steps down to just 4. This change allowed new customers to get started without needing technical support.

    • I also developed a set of scalable onboarding templates and guides. This initiative was highly effective, reducing the average time it took for a customer to launch and see value by 90% (from 2 weeks to 2 days).

    Brand & Industry Presence

To build credibility for our new category, a key part of my strategy was to establish Elloe AI as a knowledgeable voice in the AI and wellness communities.

    • I secured speaking opportunities at industry events like Atlanta Tech Week and Austin Tech Week to share our vision.

    • I also formed partnerships with academic institutions, including Rice University and UCLA, to engage with students and researchers.

    • These efforts helped establish our position in the market, leading to invitations to join roundtable discussions on the future of AI with teams from OpenAI and Nvidia.

    • A significant part of my role involved working with complex data sets from various research projects. I focused on looking beyond the raw numbers to find a clear story, ensuring our insights were not only accurate but also relevant to real-world business applications.

    • I had the opportunity to help professors translate their research goals into compelling grant proposals. This was valuable, hands-on experience in building a strong business case and communicating a strategic vision to secure funding for new projects.

    • A rewarding aspect of the role was mentoring undergraduate students. I was responsible for explaining complex marketing and product concepts in a way that was easy to understand, handling their questions, and managing assessments, which was a great lesson in clear communication and understanding an audience.

    • Supported professors in preparing and delivering lectures, creating engaging and informative presentation materials.
